How to play it

Any monster

Stack affinity and paralyse: Maximum Might 3 adds 30% affinity at full stamina, and curing the Black Eclipse Frenzy by dealing damage grants more affinity, boosted by Antivirus 3. The four-piece Gore bonus also raises attack. Paralysis from the Lala Eumenophor gives several free windows per hunt, more if your Palico also carries paralysis. NinoMMO: this set carries you to HR 40.

Gore Mail α, Vambraces β, Coil α and Greaves β carry four points of Gore Magala's Tyranny: Black Eclipse II infects you with the Frenzy against large monsters and raises attack, with more attack once you cure it. These Gore pieces, the β ones especially, stay useful in endgame builds.
Antivirus
Antivirus 3 from the armor
Gore Mail α, Coil α and Greaves β each carry Antivirus 1: the Frenzy is cured faster and grants +10% affinity when it is. No Sane jewel needed.
Maximum MightLoad Shells
Maximum Might 3 and Lala Eumenophor
Three Mighty jewels give Maximum Might 3 (+30% affinity at full stamina) on top of the weapon's base affinity. The rarity 8 Lala Barina Charge Blade has 250 paralysis and three slots; a Magazine Jewel II keeps Load Shells 2 (or two Magazine Jewel I).
