How to play it

Any monster

Roll through attacks instead of away from them: Evade Window 3 lengthens the invulnerability on every dodge. Keep the Spirit Gauge high with Power Prolonger 2, which makes the red gauge last longer, and use Quick Sheathe 3 for fast Special Sheathe counters. If you prefer paralysis, keep upgrading the Lala Barina blade instead; NinoMMO rates paralysis as strong up to 8★ and 9★ hunts.

Hirabami Mail, Vambraces and Coil each give one point of Evade Window. At level 3 the invulnerability window on a dodge is noticeably longer, so you can roll through most attacks while you learn the monsters.

The Alloy Helm and Alloy Greaves keep two points of Quick Sheathe and the new Sheathe Charm I adds the third, freeing the chest, arms and waist for Hirabami.
