Roll through attacks: Evade Window 5 massively lengthens the invulnerability on every dodge, which makes the game much easier as a beginner. Keep paralysing the monster with the Barina Bouclier II for free Amped Element Discharges. Any charm works for now.

Every Hirabami piece carries one point of Evade Window. At level 5 the invulnerability window on a roll is massively longer: you can dodge through most attacks and fireballs if you time it roughly right.

The upgraded Lala Barina blade has more sharpness, more raw and 130 paralysis, plus Critical Status 1 and Critical Draw 1. The Hirabami set also adds Ice Resistance 3 and Recovery Speed 2.
