How to play it

Soft skin · HZV 45+

Darcblade uses it to farm Gogmazios, but it works on most monsters as long as the element matches. Its strengths are elemental damage (Mutual Hostility I, Burst, Weakness Exploit and the weapon skills stacked) and its defensive and quality-of-life skills. Its limits: it needs Gogmapocalypse rolled on a Gogma Artian weapon, and Dual Blades can still run low on sharpness even with Razor Sharp.

Three Gogmazios pieces plus the Gogmapocalypse roll reach four points. Level I raises elemental damage while the monster is enraged; level II puts a temporary damage barrier on the hunter a short while into a fight, then recharges.

Scorcher from two Rathalos pieces
Gogmazios Mail β and G. Rathalos Vambraces β each carry Rathalos's Flare: hits have a chance to add a fire blast, and Dual Blades hit often enough for it to add up.

G. Ebony Helm β and Gogmazios Coil α carry Ebony Odogaron's Power for Burst Boost: once Burst 5 is up, it lasts longer and adds +8 raw. Burst builds as you keep hitting, which Dual Blades do constantly, and it stacks with the Mutual Hostility element bonus while the monster is enraged.
