How to play it

Any monster

Keep hitting to hold Burst: Burst Boost I adds +8 attack and a longer Burst while it is active. Scorcher deals extra fire damage from time to time, and part of it is true damage that ignores the monster's resistances, so it adds more the longer a hunt lasts, which suits hunters who are still learning. In early High Rank, spend on weapon upgrades before armor: monsters do not hit hard yet and a stronger weapon clears faster.
