How do you craft Rathian β armor?
Forging the full Rathian β set costs 17,500 z and Rathian Scale+ ×7, Rathian Carapace ×6, Rathian Webbing ×4, Rathian Certificate S ×3, Monster Keenbone ×2 and Rathian Spike+ ×2 plus 4 more materials. Hunt Rathian, Balahara, Rompopolo and Rathalos in high rank for the monster parts; the rest is mined, gathered or bought. Each piece is forged separately at the Smithy under High Rank.
What is the difference between Rathian α and Rathian β?
Rathian α carries 12 skill levels and 1 decoration slot (2); Rathian β carries 7 skill levels and 8 slots (2-2-1-1-1-1-1-1). Defense (190→390), resistances, materials and the set bonus are identical, and α and β pieces mix freely towards the bonus.
